Great Pan!

Been cooking pizzas for years in both my BBQ grill and oven using a pizza stone. No more heating the stone for an hour! No more cracked/broken stones! I just assemble the pizza in the (cold) pan and set it in my 450 degree grill/oven and 6-9 minutes I have a really good pizza. The crust is crispy, the pizza stays hot longer when serving. I have just ordered a second pan.

We make our own pizzas quite often since it's just 2 of us. It's tasty and very inexpensive. I mean I don't have time/experience to make dough (yet), but at $1.50 or less, plus a can of tomato paste (with water, sugar and seasonings)...the rest of the toppings are the most expensive part. For a $6 meal it's awesome. And cooking things on the grill is what we do most of the time, but when we are starving or get home late from work, we don't have the time to heat up the coals and let the heat temp even out. If you're not careful and quick about putting together a pizza over a 100 degree grill, you will burn it. The cast iron pan heats up, evenly, quickly and makes cooking a pizza fun. Cooks it through without a problem and is larger than the old pizza pan we were using for transport. Nice and heavy, exactly what I expect from Lodge brand. Goes in the stove and works just as well for holding a frozen pizza. Highly recommended!

I don't usually write reviews, but this pizza pan worked out great and was definitely worth the money. Overall the pizza cooked evenly and the crust turned out nicely, which has been a problem with my homemade pizzas. Remember this pan holds heat pretty good even after your pizza comes out of the oven.
